With the rapid development of factory buildings in China, the application of steel structures is becoming increasingly widespread. As is well known, the application of steel structures in factory construction is very important. Therefore, attention must be paid to the following issues when storing and installing steel structures to ensure their safe use.
1. The specifications, steel grade, quantity, and material acceptance certificate number of the steel should be indicated at the end of the steel.
2. When stacking outdoors, the site should be flat, the height should be higher than the surrounding ground, and there should be drainage ditches around.
3. When stacking, the back of the steel section should be facing upwards or outwards as much as possible to avoid snow and water accumulation. There should be a height difference at both ends for easy drainage.
4. Before installation, the construction unit should conduct a special inspection of the product qualification certificate, design documents, and pre assembly records of the parts, and review the dimensions of the parts.
5. Steel structures should adopt appropriate connection methods to ensure consistency between node design and simplified structural calculation models.
6. When hoisting steel structures, appropriate measures should be taken to prevent excessive bending and twisting deformation. A washer should be added at the contact between the steel wire rope buckle and the component to prevent damage to the component.
7. After the steel structure is in place, the brackets and other connectors should be tightened in a timely manner to ensure the stability of the structure.
8. High altitude workers should use tools, and spare parts should be placed in tool bags and not thrown up or down
9. When working on rainy days, reliable anti slip measures must be taken, and lightning protection should be taken during thunderstorm seasons.
10. The weather conditions before construction are also optimistic, and the use of winds of level four or above is prohibited.
